This free design for your laser is easy to make and may give you some ideas for other artwork involving LEDs and a little imagination.

It uses the 1/4″ thick birch available at Home Depot (and other stores) which is actually .20″ thick:

The front of the box contains LEDs that can twinkle and fade along with a piece of rose velum for color. Of course you can adjust this to your taste. Place poinsettias or other Christmas decorations in the cavity in the rear.
